Kale and Protein Smoothie!

This.Was.So.Good. Smoothies are an excellent way to get in fruits, veggies, protein, flax, antioxidants and all of the nutrients our bodies need. Today’s Kale smoothie was probably the best one I’ve made yet! Here’s what I blended together:

– 1 scoop vanilla protein powder
– 1 cup kale
– 1 cup spinach
– 1/2 cup frozen blueberries
– 2 tablespoons ground flax
– 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
– a few ice cubes

The protein powder is really sweet on its own, so blending in all those veggies helped even it out. These smoothies give me so much energy, and they’re super nutritious 🙂 How’s your lunch hour goin?!
