While studying for microbiology, nutrition and organic chemistry, my stomach started grumbling and my brain needed a serious pick-me-up. So I made this snack to get in whole grains, healthy fats, vitamins and minerals. I toasted one waffle from “Van’s natural light whole grain waffle”- only 70 calories per waffle, 1 gram of fat, 3 grams of fiber (amazing!), put a tablespoon of natural peanut butter on top and 1/2 of a frozen banana. The frozen banana tastes like ice-cream on top of the warm waffle! I’m thinkin’ next time of using nutella (OoOo!). Well, back to studying. What nutella snacks are your fave?
